Traction Outsourcing Limited ("Traction Outsourcing Limited," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through tolnigeria.com, why we collect it, and how we handle it, in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act, 2023 (NDPA) and the General Application and Implementation Directive (GAID) issued by the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC). By using this website, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information in two ways.
Information you give us directly. When you fill in a consultation form on this site, we collect your full name, phone number, company name, and email address. If you contact us through WhatsApp, phone, or email instead, we receive whatever information you choose to share in that conversation.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider may log basic technical information such as your browser type and general access times, for security and maintenance purposes. This site does not currently run analytics or advertising tracking scripts.
2. Lawful Basis & How We Use Your Information
We only process your personal data where we have a lawful basis to do so under the NDPA, most commonly your consent (when you voluntarily submit a form) or our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. We use the information collected for the following purposes:
- To respond to your consultation request and get in touch about our services.
- To understand which of our service pages generate enquiries, so we can improve them.
- To send you information you have specifically asked for, such as event details or proposals.
- To meet legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations where applicable.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not sell your information to third parties. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, without affecting the lawfulness of any processing carried out before withdrawal.
3. When We Share Information
We do not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share information with trusted service providers who support our business operations (for example, form processing and productivity tools), or where required to do so by Nigerian law, regulation, or a valid legal process. Any third party we work with is expected to handle your information with the same level of care described in this policy.
4. International Data Transfers
Some of the service providers that support our operations may process data outside Nigeria. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure such transfers meet the safeguards required under the NDPA, including relying on providers that maintain adequate data protection standards.
5. Data Security
We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss, including restricting access to authorized personnel only. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and while we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will take appropriate steps in line with our obligations under the NDPA, including notifying the NDPC and affected individuals where required.
6. Cookies & Tracking
This website does not currently use tracking cookies or third-party advertising pixels. If that changes in the future, this policy will be updated to reflect it, and where required, you will be asked for consent.
7. Data Retention
We keep consultation form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry and maintain business records, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first, in line with the principle of storage limitation under the NDPA.
8. Your Rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:
- Know what information we hold about you and how it is processed;
- Request a copy of your personal data;
- Request a correction if your information is inaccurate or incomplete;
- Request that we delete your information, subject to any legal or contractual obligations that require us to keep it;
- Object to or request that we restrict certain processing of your data;
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent; and
- Lodge a complaint directly with us, or with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), if you believe your data protection rights have been violated.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the timeframes required under the NDPA.
9. Children's Privacy
This website and our services are directed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18 without valid parental or guardian consent.
10. Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our services or applicable law change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
